Description:
The car is a red Nissan 200SX S14, not the less desirableS14A, '96 UK model (not import) with 136,000 miles on the clock. Its a 2 litre turbo S14 touring model with about 200bhp so is very fast and a total blast to drive!
It has: automatic gearbox, leather seats, air con, fog lights, electric wndows, Sony 6 CD player, heated rear screen rear wash-wipe etc
I bought the car in Nov 2004 and have used it almost daily. Mechanically it is very sound - the SR20DET engines are bomb proof. It has a stainless steel PowerFlo exhaust.
The car is in very good condition for age and runs and drives very well. I look after my cars and many people have remarked on how good the condition is for its age. I have all the MOT's
from since I have owned the car.
o For a sports car it is quite practical, with a decent sized boot
o The 200SX engine has a cam chain, so no cam belt to wear-out/replace.
o Best owners club (SXOC) on the Web:
o Its an auto, so hasn't been thrashed as much as a manual and no clutch to replace.
o Transmission fluid was replaced a few years ago and is still a clear blue colour.
o Recent new windscreen
o Performance & reliability.
o Power 'tweakable' up to 400+ bhp
o Prices on the 200SX seem to be on the increase, partly because of the scarcity value but also because they are such great cars.
The MOT runs until the end of October and it was last serviced in April (oil, filter, new pads all round, new rear disks, new wipers).
